Method

Advocare Fiber Muffins: From Prep to Plate
  1. Step 1: Preheat Your Oven. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your muffins will bake evenly.
  2. Step 2: Prepare Your Muffin Tin. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the tin with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Step 3: Mix the Dry Ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine the unbleached all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, cinnamon, ground cloves, baking soda, baking powder, and the Advocare unflavored fiber. Whisk these ingredients together until they are well incorporated.
  4. Step 4: Combine the Wet Ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Truvia sweetener, apple sauce, egg whites, vanilla extract, almond extract (if using), orange zest, and almond milk. Mix until smooth.
  5. Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold everything together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are perfectly fine.
  6. Step 6: Fill the Muffin Tin. Spoon the batter into each muffin cup, filling about 2/3 full. This allows space for the muffins to rise.
  7. Step 7: Bake the Muffins. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Step 8: Cool and Enjoy. Once baked, remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for about 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy your Advocare Fiber Muffins warm or at room temperature!
