Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated onion, beaten egg, whole-wheat breadcrumbs, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, black pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, aiming for about 4 to 6 patties.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the patties in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store cooked patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For longer storage, freeze patties in a single layer, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
- Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes before serving.
