- Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the prepared Mexican shredded beef with any additional spices or seasonings you like.
- Step 2: Lay out a flour tortilla on a clean surface. Place a generous amount of the shredded beef mixture in the center. Fold in the sides and roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom to the top.
- Step 3: Using a brush, lightly coat the outside of each rolled chimichanga with olive or avocado oil.
- Step 4: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Step 5: Carefully place the chimichangas in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Step 6: Once done, remove the chimichangas from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped tomatoes and sour cream.
