- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so that it’s ready to bake your delicious creation.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of self-rising flour, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of milk. Whisk these ingredients together until smooth, and then stir in the melted butter.
- Step 3: Fold in the sliced bananas gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Step 4: Pour the banana mixture into your greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Step 5: In another bowl, mix together ½ cup of packed brown sugar, ½ cup of self-rising flour, softened butter, oats, cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Combine until crumbly.
- Step 6: Spread the oat topping evenly over the banana batter in the baking dish.
- Step 7: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
