Ingredients

For the Sliders:
  • 2 pounds beef tenderloin cooked medium-rare, sliced into 1/2-inch slices
  • 12 slider buns split
  • 4 tablespoons butter for toasting the buns
  • 1 cup horseradish sauce to complement the beef

Equipment

  • Sharp knife
  • Skillet
  • Meat thermometer
  • Serving platter

Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Cook the Beef Tenderloin - Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper. Sear it in a hot skillet or grill over high heat, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare. Allow the beef to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Slider Buns - While the beef is resting, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Split the slider buns and place them in the skillet, cut side down. Toast them until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Assemble the Sliders - Place a slice of beef on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top generously with horseradish sauce, then add the top half of the bun.
  4. Step 4: Serve and Enjoy! - Arrange the assembled sliders on a serving platter and serve immediately while they're warm. These sliders are best enjoyed fresh, with the flavors at their peak.
