Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Dill relish
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 6 cups Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup Chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Sliced pickles
  • 1 cup Shredded or cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sliced red onion

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Serving plates or bowls

Method

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with sea salt, garlic powder, and black pepper to taste. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  2. In a bowl, combine mayo, ketchup, dill relish, and Dijon mustard. Whisk until smooth and well blended. Adjust the seasoning to your taste if needed.
  3. While the beef is cooking, wash and chop the Romaine lettuce, chop the tomatoes, slice the pickles, and thinly slice the red onion. Set aside.
  4. In a large serving bowl, add the chopped Romaine lettuce as your base. Layer on the cooked ground beef, chopped tomatoes, sliced pickles, shredded cheese, and red onion.
  5. Pour the prepared dressing over the salad. Toss gently to combine all the ingredients and evenly coat them with the dressing.
  6. Serve your Big Mac Salad immediately in individual bowls or on plates. Enjoy the flavors of a Big Mac in a fresh and healthier way!

Notes

  • Store leftover salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Keep the dressing separate until ready to eat to prevent sogginess.
  • You can substitute ground beef with lentils or a meat alternative for a vegetarian version.
