Ingredients

For the Sliders:
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken for that tender, protein-packed filling.
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce adds the signature spicy kick.
  • 3 ounces cream cheese at room temperature for a creamy texture.
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped, brings a fresh herbaceous note.
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions adds a mild onion flavor.
  • 1 package dinner rolls halved lengthwise, the perfect base for sliders.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing for an extra creamy layer.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese melted for a sharp cheesy flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese adds a spicy, creamy touch.
  • 1/3 cup pickled jalapeños (optional) for an additional kick.
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter to brush on the rolls for a golden finish.
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce to enhance the overall spice level.
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce adds depth and umami.
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped for aromatic flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds for added texture and visual appeal.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking dish
  • Spatula
  • Oven
  • Knife

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures your sliders will bake evenly and come out golden brown.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, chopped cilantro, chopped scallions, ranch dressing, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined and creamy.
  3. Take the package of dinner rolls and slice them in half lengthwise. Place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Sprinkle the melted cheddar and pepper jack cheeses on top, and if you like it spicy, add the pickled jalapeños.
  4. Place the top halves of the dinner rolls over the cheesy chicken mixture. In a small bowl, melt the salted butter and mix in the poppy seeds. Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls for added flavor and a beautiful golden finish.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Slice them apart and serve warm. These sliders are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven!
