Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Larger Mixing Bowl
  • Meat thermometer

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the baking powder and Cajun seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Add the dried chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the seasoning mixture until they are evenly coated.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the coated wings out in a single layer.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
  7. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature of the wings has reached 165°F (74°C).
  8. Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure wings are dry before coating for maximum crispiness.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
  • Consider using an air fryer for an even crispier texture.
