Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium carrots peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh organic orange juice
  • 1 cup frozen red berries (strawberries, raspberries, or mixed berries)
  • 1 cup organic Greek yogurt or a dairy-free alternative
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 sprig fresh mint to garnish

Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Measuring cups

  • Serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Start by peeling and chopping the medium carrots into smaller pieces. This will help them blend more easily.
  2. In your high-speed blender, combine the chopped carrots, fresh organic orange juice, frozen red berries, and Greek yogurt. If you’re using honey, add it in at this stage.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, feel free to add a little more orange juice or water to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Give your smoothie a taste. If you prefer it sweeter, add a little more honey and blend again.
  5. Pour your Carrot Berry Smoothie into serving glasses and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint for an added touch of freshness.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, substitute fresh orange juice with apple juice or coconut water.
  • Mix and match frozen fruits based on your preference.
  • For a vegan option, replace honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
