Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles your preferred type (egg noodles, rice noodles, or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb ground turkey fresh, good quality
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili crisp
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • green onions sliced, for garnish
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • fresh cilantro optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Wok
  • Pot
  • Colander
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Wooden spoon
  • Spatula
  • Measuring spoons

Method

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 8 oz of your preferred noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain noodles and set aside, reserving about ¼ cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon or spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Push the turkey to one side of the skillet. Add minced garlic to the empty side and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in 2 tablespoons chili crisp, mixing thoroughly with turkey and garlic.
  4. Pour in 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Stir well to combine all flavors. If mixture looks dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen.
  5. Add cooked noodles into the skillet with the turkey mixture. Toss everything together over medium heat until noodles are evenly coated and heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle chopped green onions over the top. Add fresh cilantro if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use zucchini or shirataki noodles for a low-carb alternative.
  • Adjust chili crisp amount to control spice and oil levels.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat gently to preserve texture.
