Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients for a smoother blending process.
  2. Add the frozen banana, baby spinach, shredded coconut, cocoa powder, chia seeds (if using), milk, almond extract, vanilla extract, and maple syrup (if desired) into your blender.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high until smooth. Adjust consistency with more milk or ice cubes if necessary.
  4. Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup or almond extract as needed.
  5. Pour into a glass or jar and enjoy immediately, optionally garnished with shredded coconut.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
