- Start by draining and rinsing the garbanzo beans under cold water.
- In a food processor, combine the drained garbanzo beans, peanut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If the hummus is too thick, add a tablespoon of water or more maple syrup to adjust consistency.
- Taste the hummus and add more maple syrup if desired.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with chocolate syrup and mini chocolate chips, and serve with fruits or snacks.
Notes
- This hummus is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for up to one week.
- Substitute peanut butter with almond butter for a different flavor.
