  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise For creaminess.
  • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For melty goodness.

Method
 

Preparation Steps:
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, red bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the crawfish tails and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until warmed through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the crawfish mixture with dry mustard, mayonnaise, mozzarella, and cheddar. Mix well.
  4. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the inside if desired.
  5. Spread the crawfish filling evenly across both halves of the bread.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the filled bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
