Preparation Steps:
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, red bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the crawfish tails and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until warmed through.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crawfish mixture with dry mustard, mayonnaise, mozzarella, and cheddar. Mix well.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the inside if desired.
- Spread the crawfish filling evenly across both halves of the bread.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the filled bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
