Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp

  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces cooked and drained linguine noodles
  • to garnish Chopped fresh parsley
  • to garnish Extra Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Start by cooking the linguine noodles according to the package instructions. Make sure to season the boiling water with salt for extra flavor. Once cooked, drain the noodles and set them aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Season them with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Next, pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir well to combine, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  4. To the simmering sauce, add the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
  5. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, then add the drained linguine noodles. Toss everything together, ensuring each noodle is coated with that luscious creamy sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Once everything is combined, serve the Creamy Parmesan Garlic Shrimp Pasta immediately. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese for a beautiful finish.
