  • 2-3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon Hungarian paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Colander
  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Method

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 7-9 minutes.
  2. Once cooked, carefully drain the noodles in a colander, shaking off excess water.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the salted butter. Allow it to bubble gently, but be careful not to let it brown.
  4. Add the drained egg noodles to the skillet with the melted butter. Stir gently to coat the noodles evenly with the butter.
  5. Sprinkle in the chopped fresh dill, Hungarian paprika, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  6. Once everything is well mixed and heated through, remove from heat and serve the Dilled Egg Noodles warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To prevent sticking, toss noodles with melted butter immediately after draining.
  • For a vegan version, use plant-based butter and vegan egg noodles.
