Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt & pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • to taste Chopped parsley (optional) for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper on both sides. Place the seasoned chicken in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, chicken broth, and cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the honey mustard sauce over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the top and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For a different flavor, substitute honey with maple syrup.
  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for juiciness.
