  • 16 oz refried beans (1 can) A creamy base that adds richness.
  • 6 oz cheddar cheese shredded for that gooey, melty goodness.
  • 1 cup tortilla chips crushed adds a satisfying crunch on top.
  • 2 cups lettuce shredded for freshness.
  • 1/2 cup pico de gallo A fresh salsa that adds brightness.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream A creamy topping to finish off the dish.

Method
 

Cooking Directions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, salsa, and taco seasoning. Stir until well-coated.
  3. Step 3: Spread the refried beans evenly on the bottom of your baking dish to create a creamy base.
  4. Step 4: Spoon the chicken mixture over the refried beans, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Step 5: Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Step 6: Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips on top of the cheese layer.
  7. Step 7: Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
