Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt optional and to taste
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream only if necessary for dough consistency
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup sprinkles

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking sheet or plate
  • Plastic wrap

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, cream these ingredients together until the mixture is light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Next, stir in the tablespoon of vanilla extract until well integrated.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and optional pinch of salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients in your large bowl. Mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  5. If the dough seems too dry, add in the tablespoon of milk or cream gradually until you reach the desired consistency.
  6. Using your hands, scoop out portions of dough and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place each ball on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper.
  7. For the best texture, chill the cookie dough balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Once chilled, your FUNFETTI-Inspired Cookie Dough Balls are ready to enjoy!

  • These cookie dough balls can be customized with different mix-ins like nuts or different types of chocolate.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
