Ingredients

  • 1 package garlic herb cheese spread (like Boursin), room temperature
  • ½ cup shredded Colby-Jack cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Italian cheese blend
  • 1 tube refrigerated breadsticks (like Pillsbury French Bread)
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Brush

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic herb cheese spread, shredded Colby-Jack cheese, and shredded Italian cheese blend. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Open the tube of refrigerated breadsticks and unroll the dough into a long rectangle. Pinch the seams together to create a uniform surface.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Starting from one end, roll the dough up tightly to form a log.
  6. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces, yielding about 12-15 roll-ups.
  7. Place the roll-ups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the lightly beaten egg.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan cheese on top of each roll-up.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • These roll-ups can be frozen before baking; just wrap them tightly.
  • Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
  • Add cooked bacon bits or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
