Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango for the smoothie base
  • 1 cup loose baby spinach washed and dried
  • 1 each banana halved and divided
  • 1/2 cup protein milk or milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup yogurt dairy-free cocoyo used
  • 1/3 cup diced mango for topping
  • 1/3 cup strawberries sliced for topping
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes for topping

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Cutting Board and Knife

Method

  1. Start by gathering all the ingredients listed above. Ensure your frozen mango is ready and your spinach is washed and dried.
  2. In your blender, combine the frozen mango, baby spinach, half of the banana, protein milk, and yogurt. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. If your smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk to reach your desired consistency. Blend again until fully combined.
  4. While your smoothie is blending, chop the remaining half of the banana and prepare your diced mango and sliced strawberries.
  5. Pour the blended smoothie into your chosen bowl. Artfully arrange the diced mango, sliced strawberries, and coconut flakes on top.
  6. Grab your spoon and dig into your vibrant Green Smoothie Bowl! Enjoy the refreshing flavors and nourishing ingredients.

Notes

  • If you don’t have frozen mango, fresh mango works too; just add ice to the blender for a frosty texture.
  • Spinach can be swapped for kale if you prefer a bolder green flavor.
  • Any type of yogurt can be used, including Greek yogurt or regular dairy yogurt.
