Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream high-fat content
  • 2-4 tablespoons powdered sugar or granulated sugar adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon vanilla extract use pure vanilla for best flavor

Method
 

  1. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before starting.
  2. In your chilled mixing bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  3. Using your electric mixer or whisk, whip the cream on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 2-4 minutes with an electric mixer or 5-7 minutes by hand.
  4. Taste the whipped cream and adjust sweetness or vanilla as desired, whipping for an additional 30 seconds to incorporate.
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
