Ingredients
  

For the Pizza:
  • 1 whole whole wheat pita bread
  • 1 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp ranch dressing
  • 1/2 tsp Gourmet Garden Garlic or garlic powder
  • 1 fresh jalapeño sliced (seeds removed if preferred)
  • 1/4 cup chicken breast cooked
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and garlic. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the whole wheat pita bread using a spatula.
  4. Layer the cooked chicken evenly over the cream cheese spread. Next, distribute the sliced jalapeños on top.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the panko bread crumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the cheese layer.
  7. Place the assembled pita pizza on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a minute, slice into wedges, and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can prepare the cream cheese mixture and toppings in advance and store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
