Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Baking Pan - Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later.
  2. Step 2: Melt the Semi-Sweet Chocolate - In a double boiler or a microwave-safe bowl, melt the 20 ounces of chopped semi-sweet chocolate and 1 ounce of sweetened condensed milk together. Stir frequently until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Step 3: Mix in Flavorings - Once the chocolate mixture is melted, remove it from heat and stir in the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, and 3 tablespoons of Kahlua. Make sure everything is well combined.
  4. Step 4: Add Peanuts and Chocolate Chunks - Fold in the 1/2 cup of chopped roasted salted peanuts and the 1/2 cup of chopped milk chocolate.
  5. Step 5: Prepare the Dark Chocolate Layer - In a separate bowl, melt the 4 ounces of dark chocolate and 1/2 cup of peanut butter chips until smooth. Stir until fully combined, then pour this mixture over the fudge base in the prepared pan.
  6. Step 6: Chill the Fudge - Spread the dark chocolate layer evenly over the fudge base. Place the pan in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours, or until it has completely set.
  7. Step 7: Cut and Serve - Once the fudge is set, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut it into squares or rectangles, and enjoy your delicious Kahlua Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge!

Notes

  • Chop chocolate into small, even pieces for uniform melting.
  • Increase Kahlua for a more intense coffee flavor.
  • Let fudge sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before cutting for cleaner slices.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
