Ingredients

  • 3.5 cups Rolled oats (regular or gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour (use gluten-free all-purpose as a substitute)

  • Mixing bowls
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and flour, stirring until well mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the maple syrup, peanut butter, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until the oats are coated.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet, pressing down slightly to encourage clumping.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden brown and crunchy.
  8. Allow the granola to cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking into clusters and storing.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
  • Add nuts or seeds for extra crunch and nutrition.
  • Mix in chocolate chips after cooling for a sweeter treat.
