  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil or substitute with sesame or vegetable oil

  • to taste fresh ground black pepper
  • Toasted sesame seeds optional, for garnish

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and fresh ground black pepper on both sides.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the peanut oil and heat until it shimmers.
  3. Step 3: Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side without moving.
  4. Step 4: Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Step 5: Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest, slice, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  • Pair with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Leftover chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
