Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Steaks - Allow ribeye steaks to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Season Generously - Rub with olive oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Step 3: Heat the Skillet - Preheat your cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling hot.
  4. Step 4: Sear the Steaks - Add steaks to the skillet and sear undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Flip and Add Butter - Flip steaks and add butter to the skillet, basting with melted butter.
  6. Step 6: Check Doneness - Continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes until desired doneness is reached.
  7. Step 7: Rest the Steaks - Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Slice and Serve - Slice against the grain and serve immediately.
