  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 medium lime juiced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Desired toppings (avocado, tomato, onion, sour cream, etc.)

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure wonton wrappers become crispy.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Wonton Shells - Lay out wonton wrappers on a baking tray and press centers into muffin tin cups to form taco shells.
  3. Step 3: Bake the Wonton Wrappers - Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Step 4: Cook the Meat - Heat oil in a large skillet, add ground meat, and cook until browned.
  5. Step 5: Add Seasoning - Sprinkle taco seasoning into browned meat, pour in water and tomato sauce, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Add Lime Juice - Stir in the juice of one medium lime.
  7. Step 7: Assemble the Tacos - Fill each baked wonton shell with seasoned meat and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  8. Step 8: Add Toppings - Add your favorite toppings like avocado, tomatoes, onions, and sour cream.
